Happy Birthday Eggie & Angel *

This week was special for 2 reasons: my husband celebrated his 34th & my son is now officially 3 yrs old!
We went to Chuck E. Cheese and boy was it all dat! I had memories of myself how I used to be all excited counting how many tickets I collected after using up all my tokens & then proceeding to the counter to pick out a special prize according to the amount of tickets made. The kids all had fun, even cousin Mickey was there with his son. The pizza was good, the cake was delish & now I am SO happy to be through with the terrible 2's. My son has now begun the "magic years", which is 3- 4 yrs of age.
These are my favorite stages. It's where he already know he must behave a certain way to get certain things. He even bargains with me, like, "if I pick up my toys, we go to the park?"
I miss when Angelice was this age. Such a cute time...
Well, next week I return to work. Wish me luck .......

Back-to-School (with Fay on the way)..

Well, it's already that time of year!
Angelice started 1st grade today! Boy, was she excited w/her cute new rolling back pack, new uniforms & new Hannah Montana shoes.
Yea, Florida already started school. Her BFF is in the same class, so we were super excited about that. (We didnt know if they were gonna be together or not) **
We're thinkin' of sending her this school year on the bus to save gas, I guess.

Now on to Hurricane Fay. I'm not even worried about it. (For some reason, I feel amazingly calm). The last hurricanes that hit Florida I remember were in 2004 (they were 3 in a row)! That was sum KRA-ZEE SH**T! Me, my husband & daughter (she was only 2 and half at that time) were huddled up in my bedroom closet with a mattress over us. Even with that, we still felt the closet wall vibrating & that loud "WOOM" sound that just wouldnt stop!
Angelice is still tramautized to this day & can't hear the word "Hurricane" or she sort of freaks out (her eyes pop out & she'll be like "where?", are we having a hurricane?!")

Yea, just so u know.

Well, Angel's never been thru a hurricane so this will be his 1st. He's the type that hides under a big comforter when it rains/thunders/lightning. He's totally not ready for a hurricane.

I'll keep u updated.

My Treatment ...

So, today I began treatment (birth control pills) for my condition, endometriosis. It isn't known why I have it (I asked my Dr. & he said because I'm a woman).
The worst part is there is no cure & it's a disease that can get more severe as you grow older. All I can do is pray that the treament I'm on will actually work & that my left ovary isnt affected. (Doctors removed my right ovary last month during my surgery as well as the ovaryan cyst which by the way was as big as a cantaloupe!)..

Life, life.
I'm not the same anymore. I now have frequent dizzyness as well as constant burping & it's all pretty much starting to get to me. I'm trying hard to control it & stay happy & positive for my children & husband; but even they notice.

For now, I leave it all in God's hands & in Him I put my trust (as alwayz) ...
